Maritime Exploration - Technology, Causes, and Outcomes Inquiry Lesson  (Donate for Access)

This inquiry lesson covers Topic 4.1 and 4.2
  • Assign for homework as part of a flipped class model - after completing for homework, students come to class ready to discuss and share their responses 
  • Make each document a “station” in your room that students have to visit in order to answer the questions
  • Put students in groups and make each document a “jigsaw” part that is rotated around the room. Students can work together and discuss findings. Split the activity into two parts for shorter class periods.
  • Use the tech portion for the first class and the causes/effects portion for the second part.
