This activity covers topics 2.2 and introduces students to the skills necessary to write a DBQ. In my class, students write their first DBQ in unit 4 after practicing the skills in activities like this in Units 1-3.

This article does is an excellent summary of the major topics and themes of Unit 2. It covers topics 2.5 and 2.6. It's a dense article and can be difficult for students to understand, but I think the graphic organizer below helps them synthesize the article in a more manageable and productive way.
