Welcome AP World History Teachers
Greetings fellow AP World History teacher. I created this website for my students but soon learned that many teachers were accessing my site and making use of my resources. Since then, I have tried to provide the AP World community with presentations and handouts they can use in their classrooms.
Early Access Discount - $120 for Google Drive Access
Donations of $120 will have access to my entire website including all handouts, presentations, pacing calendars, and exam review materials. This is an early access discount! I don't have the answer keys ready yet. When most of them are complete the access price will increase for future users to account for the extra work and benefit of answer key access (you will need to provide proof you are an educator to receive access to the keys).
Donations of less than $120 will be refunded.
Please email me when you have donated so I can add your desired email to allow access to the materials via Google Drive. The link to my email is below.
If you think your school might reimburse you, I can also send you an invoice via PayPal. Just email me, but check with your bookkeeper before moving forward!
IMPORTANT: You MUST have access to Google Drive in order to access the materials on the site.

What Your Donation Includes:
Through your donation, you gain access to every handout, activity, and presentation I use to teach the entire AP World History course.
An entire course of AP World content:
You can purchase this as a new AP World History teacher and not need to make a single activity, presentation, or handout for AP World History for the school year. Imagine never having another "Sunday scaries" moment wondering what you are going to teach that week! I have pacing guides with links to every presentation and activity you could use to teach that topic that day.
Content directly aligned with CB's Course Content for AP World:
I did my best to create a course that covers every topic for AP World History as outlined in the Course and Exam Description. I also focus the content, activities, and handouts on the five course themes: Environment, Cultural Developments, Governance, Economic Systems, Social Interactions & Organization, and Technology & Innovation.
Content directly aligned with CB's skills:
My activities consistently address AP World's three historical reasonings skills: causation, comparison, and changes and continuities over time. These skills are woven into all of my lesson and presentations to ensure that students are practicing the skills they need to be successful on the AP World History exam (And in life! These are awesome skills for any student to develop!)
My expertise:
These resources were created by a 12+ year AP World History veteran teacher who has taught at both Title I and high achieving high schools and attended the AP Reading for AP World History for seven years. My students have a lot of success on the AP World History exam.
(In the near future): Answer Keys:
I will provided (with proof that you are a teacher) answer keys to as many handouts as I can make!
In Summary:
I think the donation is fair for an entire course worth of content--literally years of my work and experience. If you do not think this is a fair offer, then do not take it. It's that simple.

Remarks from Adamson Adventure Users
"As a first year AP World teacher your site provided valuable insight and help as I got started this year. While many others post their materials, I found that your activities made the most sense for how my brain processed the curriculum. I've had a handful of awesome mentors throughout my career and in many ways, you have been a virtual one." - Charise, PA
"Thank you again for your resources. They have truly been a lifeline for a first time APWH history teacher, and knowing they are something that's available really does help take away the Sunday Scaries - those are SO REAL." - Rob
"I also wanted to thank you for creating such high-quality instructional materials. As someone who's both a veteran teacher and a first-time APWH teacher, they have been a life saver. Clear-cut, adaptable, aligned to all the course goals. I've used them in combination with ______'s paid materials, and over time I've come to rely more on yours for their depth and alignment to the unit topics." - Brandon, NC
“I would also like to take a moment to thank you for putting these things together. . . .I especially like your graphic organizers! You've been a major life preserver to get ideas for my first year of AP World. I hope that you get all the support in the world because I can see how much work, knowledge, and experience into your content. It's such a daunting course, but your materials help so much, or give me ideas that I can build on. ” - Ben, OH
Frequently Asked Questions
"Why are you charging for access to your website?"
I received a lot emails for help teaching this course, emails for access to documents, people abusing and reposting my resources without permission, students posting answers online, etc. At times I would receive hundreds of access emails from students whose districts blocked access to outside Google documents. This simply became too much for me to manage for free.
I've worked extremely hard to make my class as efficient and successful as possible. This has required years and thousands of hours of my work. I think it's fair at this point in my career to charge for access to my labor.
"I can't afford the donation request for access."
I realize not everyone has the capacity to donate for access. There are a plethora of free resources available online and within online AP World communities for teachers to access.
College Board has created videos and materials available at AP Central.
My former student teacher Catherine Brown has a wealth of incredible and free materials available at her website Brown's Guide to World History. I wish I could take credit for what an amazing teacher she's become, but she was an amazing teacher (and historian!) even as a student teacher.
"How are the paid resources different than the free ones?"
There is no longer access to free resources from me. If you have copies of my previous stuff, please keep using them! Otherwise, all access to the current versions of my presentations and handouts has been locked.
I've updated many of the handouts, activities, and presentations. I've also created new activities and added resources I had previously not made public.
A frequent request was for answer keys for my handouts. As part of the paid feature, I will eventually have answer keys to as many handouts as I can create. That will be a huge benefit to new AP World teachers or teachers who need to have a long-term substitute in their classes. This will take some time, so please be patient as I work on adding them.
"I want to donate, but I don't use PayPal."
If you do not have a PayPal and would prefer to use Venmo or Cash App, please email me and I will give you my information.
"What if I donated in the past?"
If you have previously donated and would like access minus your previous donation(s), please email me. I have records of all past donations and I would like to honor your past contributions and kindness! A link to my email is near the top of the page.
"I've been using your resources for years and already have copies of them. Can I still make a small donation just to show my appreciation?"
Absolutely! And in fact, that is really awesome of you. Just leave a note with your donation to indicate you don't need full site access and are just sharing the love, otherwise donations of less than the required amount will be refunded.
Please know though that I have improved a lot of my presentations and handouts recently!
"What about access to tests and quizzes?"
If you can prove that you are in fact a teacher, with a copy of your ID that matches the name from your PayPal, or your name and email posted on your school's website (and you can email me from that email address), I will also give you access to some assessments (not DBQs or multiple choice exams).
"What if I want my school district to make the donation instead of it being a personal donation?"
Unfortunately, I don't have the documentation you would need to obtain district approval to make this purchase. This will need to be made as a personal contribution from you.
However, if you think your school might reimburse you, I can also send you an invoice via PayPal. Just email me, but check with your bookkeeper before moving forward!
"I don't want access to everything. I just need materials for a specific unit. Can I donate less to have access to specific materials and not the full site?"
While I understand this is often the case, the donation is for full site access. I do not have the option for you to purchase materials a la carte.
"The answers to some of your handouts have been posted online. I don't feel comfortable assigning them to my students for homework."

"The answers to some of your handouts have been posted online. I don't feel comfortable assigning them to my students for homework."
- Personally, I'm not a big fan of homework. I've found over the years that so many students copy homework (they take photos of their work and share them in group chats) or use AI to find answers. In my class, all of my handouts are completed during class while I lecture, therefore cheating and copying is not necessary.
- I am in the process of changing up all the handouts so they don't match the previously released ones. That way, students copying directly from an online source will not have the exact answer. Please give me some time to do this. It will be completed for all graphic organizers by August 2025.
